Off-season tourney announcement from Southern Thunder

Hi Hockey Friends!

I hope this email finds you well and hope you have been able to get on the ice a little in recent weeks/months! Most of you know me but in case, I’m Nichelle, the team captain/manager of the Southern Thunder C National-bound team. Each year we host a couple of 4-team tournaments in different cities. This season is bound to be a weird one with COVID-19 restrictions and such but I have been able to book our first tournament weekend. Please see the details below and let me know if your team wants to play! There are only 3 spaces and we are looking for C level or lower end B level teams. Please let me know if you want a spot right away, they filled up very quickly every year! Thanks!

1. Dates & Schedule
   1. Games will start Saturday, October 31^st as early as 12:20pm EST
   2. Games will end Sunday, November 1^st no later than 1:30pm EST
2. Rink Name & Location

1. 1. Games played at Fuel Tank at 9022 E 126th St, Fishers, IN 46038
2. Cost – $1,275 per team

1. 1. Cost covers ice (15 minutes stop time periods), refs and score keepers
      1. Each team gets 4 games and all games are three 15 minute stop time periods
   2. I’m am working on getting this tournament sanctioned by USAH so that it will count towards game counts for districts/nationals

1. 1. 1. Assuming it is sanctioned, all teams and players must be registered with USAH for the 2020-2021 season and rosters must be provided
   2. Scorekeepers and refs are provided
   3. Teams must submit a $500 deposit by September 15^th to hold your spot. After September 15^th, I’ll find other teams if the deposit is not received. Final balance must be paid by October 15^th
   4. If something happens with COVID-19 and we are not able to host this event, all teams will be refunded
