The Florida Thunder Women’s Ice Hockey Team is comprised of women from all over the state, primarily in the Jacksonville, North Palm Beach, Orlando, and Tallahassee areas.

The Florida Women’s Hockey League (FWHL) was founded in 2002. We are a non-profit organization for adult women who love ice hockey and whose mission is to promote the sport in the state of Florida. The FWHL currently has eleven teams, with Florida teams coming from the northern part of the state such as Pensacola and Jacksonville to as far south as Miami.
