The Gulf Coast Sea-Gals Hockey Organization was created during the summer of 2011. Head Coach, Bob Juha, wanted to expand the ladies hockey organization in the area by bringing in teams to the Skatium in downtown Fort Myers. With enough interested girls, a Rec Team and a C Team team were formed; both teams have participated in tournaments locally and statewide. The C Team recently was runner up in the 2012 Southeastern Girls/Womens Championships. The C team is national bound and headed to Boston at the end of March 2012.
